Al-jouf: More than 100 volunteers at the Pilgrims City in Al-Shaqiq in Al-Jouf Region provided a range of field services to pilgrims arriving through the Al-Haditha border crossing, as part of efforts to facilitate their journey and ensure their comfort.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the volunteer initiatives included transporting elderly pilgrims and people with disabilities using electric carts, in addition to providing guidance, organization, and field support to enhance services offered to pilgrims.
Volunteer Hanaa Nayef expressed that participating in serving pilgrims gave her a strong sense of pride, especially when assisting pilgrims and seeing gratitude on their faces. She noted that the spirit of cooperation among volunteers strengthened the values of giving and teamwork.
Several volunteers affirmed that working within this humanitarian system strengthened their sense of responsibility and motivated them to make greater efforts in serving pilgrims. These efforts reflect the participating entities' commitment to supporting humanitarian work and promoting a culture of volunteerism in serving pilgrims throughout their spiritual journey.
