Al-Qatif Almonds: A Colorful Harvest in Full Swing

Al-qatif: Al-Qatif almonds, cultivated in a governorate celebrated for its prolific almond trees scattered throughout its orchards, homes, and neighborhood streets, are now being prominently featured by vendors and farmers across central markets and fruit and vegetable shops.

According to Saudi Press Agency, farmers have highlighted that the almond season in Al-Qatif showcases an impressive variety of types and colors, with red, green, yellow, and purple almonds being the most notable. They attribute the region's hot, humid climate to the early ripening of almonds, which in turn enhances their unique quality and flavor.

Moreover, the markets are currently offering several almond varieties, including Bahraini, Emirati, and Indian almonds. However, Al-Qatif almonds remain a favorite among buyers due to their distinctive taste, further solidifying their popularity during this vibrant harvest season.
