Al-Saja Gardens: A Summer Escape Blending Nature and Recreation in Jeddah

Jeddah: Al-Saja Gardens in Jeddah attract residents and visitors with their green spaces as well as recreational and sports facilities, offering an open-air destination that combines nature and family activities in one location and a leisure experience suitable for different groups during Saudi Summer 2026.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the garden covers more than 60,000 square meters and is part of the Joy Project. This project aims to develop parks and public facilities that promote healthy lifestyles, enhance quality of life, and provide attractive environments for activities and recreation. Al-Saja Gardens is positioned as a suitable destination for visitors throughout the season.

The garden welcomes visitors with more than 20,000 square meters of green space distributed across seven main areas, along with more than 13,500 trees. This gives the site a natural character, providing ample space for strolling, sitting, and enjoying the outdoors.

Al-Saja Gardens offers families a range of recreational facilities, including a 2,200-square-meter shaded children's play area. This area features a variety of physical activities suitable for different age groups, providing children with a safe space for recreation and fun while other family members can enjoy the seating areas and green spaces throughout the garden.
