Alula: The Royal Commission for AlUla (RCA) has announced the launch of the new edition of AlUla Citrus Season, scheduled to take place from January 8 to 16 at the farmers' market. The event is set to provide a community-focused experience celebrating the region's abundant harvest and offers visitors the chance to explore and purchase a wide variety of AlUla's renowned citrus fruits, including oranges, sweet lemons, citrons, kumquats, and other premium varieties.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the Citrus Season is a significant social and economic event, giving local farmers in AlUla a vital platform to showcase and sell their produce. This initiative supports the agricultural economy of a governorate that is home to nearly 5,000 productive farms.
