Arab Bureau of Education for Gulf States to Celebrate 50th Anniversary in Riyadh

Riyadh: Under the patronage and in the presence of Governor of Riyadh Region Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, the Arab Bureau of Education for the Gulf States will celebrate its 50th anniversary in an official ceremony on Wednesday, January 14 in Riyadh, with the attendance of the ministers of education from member states.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the milestone marks a Gulf educational journey that began in 1975, during which the bureau laid the foundation for joint Gulf educational initiatives and established a platform for cooperation, coordination, and integration among the Gulf States. Its efforts have supported the development of education, strengthened educational decision-making, and facilitated the transfer of distinguished expertise and best practices.

The anniversary presents a valuable opportunity to reflect on the bureau's history, honor its legacy of achievements, and reaffirm its commitment to continued leadership and excellence in advancing education and joint educational endeavours across the Gulf States.
