Arusha:President of the Arab Parliament, Mohammed bin Ahmed Al-Yamahi, emphasized the threat posed by repeated terrorist attacks by the Houthi militia on Saudi Arabia, targeting civilian and oil facilities, as a direct threat to regional security.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Al-Yamahi made these remarks during his speech at the 153rd Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union held in the United Republic of Tanzania. He highlighted Iranian attacks on several Arab countries, which endangered civilians and vital infrastructure.
Al-Yamahi also addressed the broader regional escalation and its implications for the security of Arab nations. He urged the international community to go beyond mere condemnation and take effective measures to uphold state sovereignty and compel adherence to international law.
