Asian Stocks Rebound as Oil Prices Ease

Riyadh: Asian stock markets recovered today after a volatile start to the week, buoyed by a pullback in oil prices from recent multi-year highs. Korea's KOSPI index jumped more than 6%, Japan's Nikkei 225 advanced nearly 4%, and the broader TOPIX index rose about 3%.

According to Saudi Press Agency, in Australia, the S and P/ASX 200 gained 1.3%, while Singapore's Straits Times index added roughly 1.5%.
