Assistant Industry Minister Highlights Mining and Manufacturing as Core to Saudi Vision 2030

Riyadh: Assistant Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources for Planning and Development Dr. Abdullah Alahmari highlighted that Saudi Arabia is advancing its industrial sector through technology, sustainability, and human capital investment, with mining and manufacturing serving as central pillars of Vision 2030.

According to Saudi Press Agency, speaking at a dialogue session during the fifth Future Minerals Forum in Riyadh, Alahmari outlined the industrial sector's technological transformation, emphasizing the 'Future Factories' program, which seeks to fully automate around 4,000 factories to enhance productivity.

He also highlighted the ongoing collaboration with the Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones (MODON) and the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu (RCJY) to transform industrial cities into smart, technology-driven models.
