Attorney General Meets with Several Leaders of Judicial and Constitutional Authorities in Bahrain

Manama, The Saudi Attorney General, Sheikh Saud bin Abdullah Al-Mujib, met, along with his accompanying delegation, in the Bahraini capital Manama with Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Judicial Council and President of the Court of Cassation Sheikh Khalid bin Ali Al Khalifa. At the beginning of the meeting, Sheikh Al Khalifa expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the visit, which emphasizes the significance of enhancing judicial cooperation between the two countries, exchanging expertise and knowledge between judicial bodies, and strengthening bilateral relations in the field of justice. On his part, Sheikh Al-Mujib commended the efforts undertaken by the wise leadership of both sisterly nations in achieving security and peace in the region, their ongoing support for realizing justice, improving the quality of judicial work, enhancing justice, developing systems and laws in both countries. He also praised the collaboration with Bahraini counterparts in safeguarding rights, guarantees, and joint judicial endeavors. He visited the Constitutional Court of Bahrain, where he met with the court president, Counselor Abdullah bin Hassan Al Buainian. During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations between the two sisterly nations, ways to support and enhance them in various fields, and areas of collaboration in legislative law. Sheikh Al-Mujib highlighted the continuous development of the legislative environment in the Kingdom, which considers public interests, protects all rights, and governs actions through effective institutional procedures. He also noted that this is supported and overseen by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and HRH the Crown Prince. Counselor Al Buainian praised the notable development witnessed in Saudi Arabia's judicial legislative environment, following the best professional practices that align with the rapid advancements of this era, its requirements, and the utilization of modern technologies. On the other hand, Sheikh Al-Mujib emphasized in all his meetings the necessity of continuing judicial and parliamentary relations among the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. This is to address all challenges and obstacles that may arise in their work, combat crimes, enforce regulations and laws, and implement judgments to achieve effective justice, he noted.
