Riyadh: Austrian Federal Minister for European and International Affairs Beate Meinl-Reisinger visited the Tuwaiq Academy's Drones Hub in Riyadh during its official launch. The hub forms a key part of the Tuwaiq Drones initiative, developed in strategic partnership with Austria's Drone Champions League to cultivate specialized national talent in drone technology.
According to Saudi Press Agency, during her visit, Minister Meinl-Reisinger was briefed on the academy's comprehensive programs in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and programming. The Drones Hub is designed to offer specialized professional camps and workshops that provide practical training in drone assembly and flight, ensuring a safe and organized environment for skill development.
The hub is integrated with global technological expertise, collaborating with over 60 international technology leaders, including Apple, Meta, and NVIDIA. This ensures that national talent is trained according to the highest global standards, aligning with the objectives of the Human Capability Development Program under Saudi Vision 2030. This initiative emphasizes the Kingdom's commitment to building a technologically advanced generation and fostering international investment in modern technologies.
