Bahraini King Arrives in Riyadh to Take Part at GCC-USA Summit

Riyadh: King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of the Kingdom of Bahrain arrived in Riyadh today to take part at the GCC-USA Summit.

According to Saudi Press Agency, upon his arrival at King Khalid International Airport, King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa was received by a welcoming committee. The committee included Deputy Governor of Riyadh Region Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz, GCC Secretary-General Jasem Albudaiwi, and Mayor of Riyadh Prince Dr. Faisal bin Abdulaziz bin Ayyaf. Additionally, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Saudi Arabia Sheikh Ali bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa and Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Bahrain Naif bin Bandar Al-Sudairi were present.

Acting Director of Riyadh Region Police Major General Mansour bin Nasser Al-Otaibi and Deputy Chief of Royal Protocol Fahd Al-Suhail also welcomed the Bahraini King upon his arrival. The summit aims to address key issues and strengthen relations between the GCC member states and the United States.
