Riyadh: King Abdulaziz Royal Reserve: King Abdulaziz Royal Reserve Development Authority launched the 2026 beekeeping season in the reserve as part of its efforts to support the sector and promote the sustainable use of natural resources.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the season will run until November 30, with 134 apiary sites allocated for beekeepers. Spokesperson of the authority Abdulaziz Al-Furaih stated that the initiative supports beekeepers by providing access to the reserve's rich natural resources, noting that the selected sites underwent environmental studies to ensure vegetation sustainability, biodiversity protection, and optimal productivity.
He added that the authority remains committed to high environmental standards and called on beekeepers to adhere to approved regulations to help achieve a successful season.
