CEO of Saudi Fund for Development Engages in Talks with Syrian Ministers

Damascus: CEO of the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD) Sultan Al-Marshad held meetings yesterday with several key Syrian ministers to explore opportunities for development cooperation. The discussions involved Syrian Minister of Energy Eng. Mohammad Al-Bashir, Minister of Emergency and Disaster Management Raed Al-Saleh, and Minister of Communications and Information Technology Abdulsalam Haykal.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the meetings aimed to identify and support various development sectors in Syria as part of the SFD's ongoing activities. The discussions focused on contributing to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals and supporting development initiatives in the region.

The meeting was also attended by Saudi Ambassador to Syria Dr. Faisal Al-Mujfel, indicating the importance of diplomatic engagement in fostering bilateral development efforts.
