Riyadh:The General Directorate of Civil Defense has issued a warning to the public, advising them to exercise caution and avoid areas that may pose rain-related hazards. This includes staying away from floodwaters that may flow in from other regions and avoiding pools of standing water.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the directorate has also emphasized the importance of steering clear of areas where floodwaters collect and refraining from crossing valleys during rainfall to ensure personal safety.
The public is further urged to adhere to safety guidelines and instructions disseminated through various media platforms and social media channels. For emergency assistance, individuals are advised to contact 911 in the regions of Riyadh, Makkah, Madinah, and Eastern regions, or dial 998 in other parts of Saudi Arabia.
