Accra:The General Directorate of Civil Defense has urged the public to exercise caution as thunderstorms are expected to continue across most regions of the Kingdom through Wednesday. Residents are advised to stay in safe places, avoid valleys and flood-prone areas, refrain from swimming, and follow instructions disseminated through media outlets and social media platforms.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the National Center for Meteorology forecasts that the regions of Makkah, Jazan, Aseer, and Al-Baha will experience moderate to heavy rain, which may lead to flash floods, hail, and downdrafts stirring up dust and sand. Meanwhile, light to moderate rain is anticipated in the regions of Madinah, Hail, Al-Jouf, and the Northern Borders.
