Riyadh: Colleges of Excellence signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) to strengthen cooperation in developing professional capabilities and skills. The agreement also aims to leverage international expertise and standards in real estate, infrastructure, and asset management in Saudi Arabia.
According to Saudi Press Agency, areas of cooperation include developing and implementing professional development and skills programs and exchanging expertise and best practices among specialists and practitioners. The two sides will also explore aligning national accreditation systems with relevant RICS professional membership pathways and exchange expertise in project management, quality assurance, professional conduct, and ethical standards.
The MoU also provides for organizing workshops and dialogue sessions and participating in conferences, events, and professional platforms at the local and international levels. These efforts aim to facilitate knowledge transfer, develop professional practices, and promote the adoption of international expertise and standards in line with the national context.
