Riyadh: The Saudi national youth weightlifting team achieved a historic achievement after coming second in the World Youth Weightlifting Championship, which concluded its competitions today in Peru with the participation of 51 countries and the most prominent players in the world. The young Saudi weightlifting team snatched second place after obtaining 498 points, the Georgian team took first place with 539 points, and the Mexican team came third with 364 points. The Saudi national team was represented in the tournament by nine players, namely: Mohammed Al-Ajyan; Mohammed Al-Wubari; Abdullah Al-Muhaimid; Ali Al-Hawar; Mohammed Al-Zuri; Mohammed Al-Haliw; Abbas Al-Mahdi; Abdullah Al-Qaisum; and Muntazer Al-Mohsen.
