Riyadh: The Cultural Development Fund has announced its participation in the third edition of the Saudi Film Confex, organized by the Film Commission from October 22 to 25 in Riyadh, to empower filmmakers and highlight the Kingdom's film sector and its unique economic and social potential.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the fund will host a pavilion to engage entrepreneurs and investors, offering insights into its financial, development, and investment opportunities. It will also participate in several sessions and workshops that focus on AlUla's role as a key destination for both local and international film projects, as well as financing solutions to support the growth of cultural initiatives across the entire film sector, from production to distribution and marketing.
The fund will enable a selection of prominent film establishments to showcase their projects in the confex's accompanying exhibition, boosting their presence in the cultural landscape and contributing to the ongoing growth of the film industry in Saudi Arabia.
