Cultural Seminar at Kuala Lumpur Book Fair 2026 Explores Saudi and Malaysian Poetic Experiences

Kuala lumpur: A cultural seminar was held in the presence of a distinguished group of intellectuals and literature enthusiasts from various nationalities. The event formed part of the cultural program through which the Literature, Publishing and Translation Commission is leading Saudi Arabia's participation as guest of honor at the Kuala Lumpur International Book Fair 2026.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the seminar explored the poetic and humanistic intersections between the works of Mohammad Al-Thubaiti and Samad Said. It highlighted the presence of place, humanity, and cultural transformations in their poetry. The seminar also shed light on points of convergence between the two literary experiences.

The seminar was part of a series of cultural events organized by the Literature, Publishing and Translation Commission throughout the book fair.
