Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ Dates Distribution Program Launched in Tajikistan

Tajikistan: The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, on Wednesday, began the implementation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' program for distributing dates in Tajikistan.

According to Saudi Press Agency, a total of five tons of dates were allocated, benefiting nearly 20,000 people, as part of the Kingdom's efforts to serve Islam and Muslims and to promote the values of solidarity and compassion during the holy month of Ramadan.

The implementation of the program comes as an extension of the Kingdom's ongoing initiatives to serve Islam and Muslims worldwide, in line with the directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and the follow-up by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, reflecting their keenness to meet the needs of Muslims in various countries.

Grand Mufti of Tajikistan Sheikh Dr. Saidmukarram Abdukodirzoda expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Kingdom's leadership, government, and people for their efforts in serving Islam and Muslims. He praised the role of the ministry in implementing religious and humanitarian programs and in conveying the noble message of Islam to all parts of the world.
