Madinah: The second group of Umrah performers under the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' Guests Program for Umrah and Visit, implemented by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, left Madinah on Monday for Makkah to perform Umrah rituals.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the group comprises 250 male and female Umrah performers from 23 countries across Europe and Asia. After visiting the Prophet's Mosque and greeting the Prophet Muhammad and his two companions, they spent several days participating in religious and cultural programs and visiting Islamic and historical sites. The ministry provided comprehensive services and care that facilitated their visit and enabled them to perform their religious rites with ease and tranquility.
The program's guests expressed their great happiness at having the opportunity to visit the Prophet's Mosque and pray at Al-Rawdah Al-Sharifah. They also visited several Islamic and historical sites, including Jabal Uhud and Quba Mosque, as well as the King Fahd Glorious Quran Printing Complex and the International Fair and Museum of the Prophet's Biography and Islamic Civilization. The guests also participated in religious and cultural programs that enriched their spiritual experience and enhanced their knowledge.
The guests praised the services and facilities provided to them. They said the care they received from their arrival in Saudi Arabia until their departure from Madinah reflects the generous attention the leadership gives to Umrah performers. It also reflects its commitment to providing all means necessary to help them perform their religious duties in an atmosphere of security, comfort, and tranquility.
