Dammam Khor Project Transforms Coastline into a Cultural and Recreational Hub

Dammam: Located on the Arabian Gulf coast, the Dammam Khor project occupies a strategic location connecting the city to urban and tourism activities, as part of ongoing efforts to develop waterfronts and public facilities across the region.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the project spans a total area of 45,000 square meters and aims to revive the Eastern Region's maritime heritage. It seeks to strengthen the connection between the city and the sea through vibrant urban spaces that support recreation, tourism, and social and cultural activities.

Dammam Khor's key features and services include the rehabilitation of the sandy beach, development of walking paths, seating and relaxation areas, and green spaces. The project also provides beach volleyball courts and children's play areas, in addition to public art installations.

The project is part of a broader drive to enhance the urban landscape and advance tourism and recreational development across the Dammam metropolitan area.
