Montgomery: Secretary-General of the Digital Cooperation Organization (DCO) Deemah AlYahya received the Technology Diplomacy Award at the Montgomery Summit. This award recognizes her efforts in enhancing international collaboration in technology and digital innovation.
According to Saudi Press Agency, since its founding in 2020, the DCO has expanded from five founding members to 16 member states, representing a collective population of over 800 million and a GDP exceeding $3.5 trillion. The organization's network has grown to include over 60 partners and observers, achieving formal recognition within the United Nations system.
The award underscores the DCO's mission to accelerate digital transformation, support cross-border trade, and promote the responsible use of emerging technologies, such as artificial intelligence, to ensure global digital prosperity.
