Riyadh: The death toll from wildfires that swept through parts of Jijel Province in eastern Algeria has risen to 73, according to preliminary reports, alongside widespread damage to property and vegetation. Algerian authorities have stated that firefighting operations are ongoing in several areas as they work to assess the full extent of the damage.
