Riyadh: Assistant Minister of Defense for Executive Affairs Dr. Khaled bin Hussein Al-Biyari on Tuesday inaugurated the Cybersecurity Awareness Exhibition, organized by the Ministry of Defense.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the three-day event in Riyadh coincides with the global Cybersecurity Awareness Month observed annually in October. Dr. Al-Biyari affirmed that organizing the exhibition reflects the ministry's commitment to strengthening the cybersecurity framework as one of the strategic pillars of national security amid the rapid pace of digital transformation worldwide.
The assistant defense minister emphasized that the exhibition conveys a national message underscoring that safeguarding the nation's security is a shared responsibility that allows no negligence or delay, and that maintaining cybersecurity is an extension of protecting the Kingdom's borders and resources. The event was attended by several officials.
