Deputy Commander of an Israeli army company killed in an exchange of fire with Hezbollah

The Israeli army announced today, Thursday, the killing of a reserve officer in its ranks in an exchange of fire with Hezbollah on the northern border with Lebanon. The Israeli army confirmed the death of reserve Major Itai Galah (38 years old), from Ramat Gan, deputy commander of the company in Unit 8679, who fell during the fighting in the north. Hezbollah announced today, Thursday, that it had targeted Israeli military sites in the Golan with more than 200 missiles, in response to the assassination of the leader Muhammad Ni'mah Nasser, head of the 'Aziz' unit in Hezbollah. This shelling also led to fires in a number of sites in the occupied Syrian Golan.
