Deputy Governor of Madinah Engages with Security Committee for Hajj Operations

Madinah: Deputy Governor of Madinah Region and Vice Chairman of the Permanent Committee for Hajj and Umrah in the region, Prince Saud bin Nahar bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, met with members of the Permanent Security Committee in Madinah. The meeting was held in his office, following directives from the Governor of Madinah Region and Chairman of the Permanent Committee for Hajj and Umrah, Prince Salman bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the deputy governor conveyed greetings from the Governor of Madinah Region to the committee members and expressed gratitude for the efforts made by various security sectors in serving pilgrims during the Hajj season. He focused on reviewing security and organizational plans prepared for receiving pilgrims arriving in Madinah post-Hajj. This included operational arrangements and procedures, as well as a briefing on the roles undertaken by security authorities in and around the Prophet's Mosque. Their efforts in crowd management, traffic regulation, and maintaining the safety of visitors and worshippers were highlighted.

The deputy governor emphasized the importance of teamwork and enhancing coordination among security and service entities to ensure the provision of comprehensive services to pilgrims during their stay in Madinah. He stated that these efforts reflect the attention and care the Saudi leadership dedicates to serving and caring for pilgrims throughout their journey.
