New York:Deputy Minister for International Multilateral Affairs Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Rassi took part in a significant meeting involving Saudi Arabia, Qatar, T¼rkiye, the United Kingdom, and the United States. This gathering, focusing on Somalia, was held at the deputy foreign ministers' level.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the meeting took place on the sidelines of the High-level Week of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly. Discussions centered on the latest developments in Somalia and explored strategies to bolster its security, stability, territorial integrity, and sovereignty.
Participants underscored the necessity of supporting the Somali government in overcoming challenges related to security, economics, and humanitarian needs.
