Deputy Minister of Industry Leads Saudi Delegation at GCC Industrial Cooperation Meeting.

Doha: The Deputy Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources for Industrial Affairs, Eng. Khalil bin Ibrahim bin Salamah, led the Saudi delegation at the 53rd GCC Industrial Cooperation Committee meeting held in Doha, Qatar. The meeting covered topics aimed at advancing industrial sectors in GCC countries, enhancing coordination, and exchanging expertise to support GCC economic integration. Key focuses included advanced technology, innovation, and Fourth Industrial Revolution techniques within the industrial sector. According to Saudi Press Agency, Eng. bin Salamah participated in a consultative meeting with GCC ministers of trade and industry and heads of chambers and federations. On the sidelines of the Industrial Cooperation Committee meeting, he met with Omani Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion Qais bin Mohammed Al-Yousef, Kuwaiti Minister of Commerce and Industry Khalifa bin Abdullah Al-Ajeel, Bahraini Minister of Industry and Commerce Abdullah bin Adel Fakhro, and Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting chief executive Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Mohammed. The bilateral meetings focused on enhancing industrial relations and exploring mutual investment opportunities. Eng. bin Salamah also attended the Gulf Inventors' Award Ceremony, which honored 12 inventors-two from each member state-to encourage creativity and innovation. The event was part of the Second Gulf Industrial Exhibition.
