Riyadh: The Digital Government Authority (DGA) participated in the AI Sandbox in Digital Learning Initiative, supporting government integration and enabling digital innovation. The initiative is led by the National eLearning Center (NeLC) as part of a comprehensive national ecosystem aimed at accelerating the adoption of artificial intelligence solutions, advancing digital transformation, and supporting the development of government services.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the DGA's participation stems from its role in strengthening digital governance, enabling government entities to adopt emerging technologies, and contributing to the development of innovation-driven digital environments. This supports the integration of national efforts and enhances the efficiency of government services in line with global best practices.
The initiative has received international recognition, with the World Bank's 2026 report highlighting Saudi Arabia's experience in leveraging artificial intelligence in the education sector. The report described it as a leading national model that countries and education systems can benefit from in developing responsible innovation and improving the quality of digital education.
This participation reflects the authority's commitment to supporting national initiatives that enhance collaboration among government entities, enable the adoption of innovative digital solutions, and reinforce Saudi Arabia's position as a global model in leveraging advanced technologies to achieve the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
