Dust-Stirring Winds and Rain Expected Across Various Regions in Saudi Arabia

Riyadh: Weather conditions on Saturday are expected to include dust-stirring winds and rain across several regions in Saudi Arabia.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the National Center for Meteorology forecasts that moderate to heavy rain may fall in parts of the Northern Borders, Al-Jouf, Tabuk, Madinah, Hail, Qassim, Eastern, Makkah, Al-Baha, Aseer, and Jazan regions. Additionally, light to moderate rain may be anticipated in parts of the Riyadh Region.

The forecast also highlights wind conditions over the Red Sea, where winds are expected to be southwesterly to northwesterly at speeds of 17-32 km/h in the northern part, and southeasterly to southerly at speeds of 22-43 km/h in the central and southern parts. Waves in this area are predicted to range from half a meter to one and a half meters, indicating relatively calm sea conditions.

In the Arabian Gulf, winds will be easterly to southeasterly in the northern and central parts, and westerly to northwesterly in the southern part, with speeds ranging from 15-30 km/h. Similar to the Red Sea, waves will range from half a meter to one and a half meters, maintaining a relatively calm sea state.
