Dust-Stirring Winds and Rain Forecast Across Saudi Regions

Tabuk: Dust-stirring winds and rain are expected to affect several regions in Saudi Arabia on Friday.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the National Center for Meteorology has forecast that winds capable of stirring dust will impact the regions of Tabuk, Al-Jouf, Northern Borders, Hail, and Madinah. Rainfall is anticipated in parts of the highlands across Jazan, Aseer, Al-Baha, and Makkah regions.

Winds over the Red Sea are predicted to be northwesterly to northerly at speeds ranging from 15 to 45 km/h in the northern and central areas, and northwesterly to westerly at speeds of 10 to 30 km/h in the southern part. Wave heights are expected to range from half a meter to two meters, leading to a sea state that will vary from calm to choppy.

In the Arabian Gulf, the forecast indicates that winds will blow northerly to northwesterly in the northern and central parts, and northwesterly to southwesterly in the southern part, at speeds of 12 to 48 km/h. Wave heights may reach from half a meter to over two meters, with the sea conditions expected to be calm to choppy.
