Riyadh: The National Center for Meteorology has issued a weather forecast for Saturday, predicting dust-stirring winds and potential moderate to heavy rain across several regions of the Kingdom. Areas expected to be affected include Madinah, Qassim, Hail, Tabuk, Al-Jouf, Northern Borders, Eastern, and Riyadh regions.
According to Saudi Press Agency, light to moderate rainfall is anticipated in the Makkah and Al-Baha regions. Additionally, fog formation during the night and early morning hours is likely in parts of these regions and the southwestern highlands.
The Red Sea will experience southwesterly to northwesterly winds in the northern and central parts and southeasterly to southwesterly winds in the southern part, with speeds ranging from 20 to 50 km/h. Wave heights in the sea may vary from one to over two meters, resulting in conditions ranging from calm to choppy.
In the Arabian Gulf, southeasterly to southwesterly winds are expected to reach speeds of 20 to 50 km/h. Similar to the Red Sea, wave heights may range from one to over two meters, and the sea will exhibit calm to choppy conditions.
