Jeddah: Dust-stirring winds are forecasted to blow across several regions including Madinah, Tabuk, Al-Jouf, Northern Borders, Hail, Qassim, Riyadh, and Eastern areas, as per the latest weather update.
According to Saudi Press Agency, gusty winds are anticipated to sweep through Jazan, Aseer, Al-Baha, and Makkah regions, bringing the possibility of rain. A significant drop in temperatures is expected in the northern parts of the Kingdom.
Over the Red Sea, winds will vary between northwesterly to northerly in the northern and central parts, with speeds ranging from 25-50 km/h, while the southern part will experience westerly to northwesterly winds at 10-32 km/h. Wave heights could range from half a meter to over two meters, indicating that the sea conditions will vary from calm to choppy.
In the Arabian Gulf, winds are predicted to shift from southeasterly to southerly, then to northwesterly at night in the northern part, with speeds of 12-38 km/h. In the central and southern regions, winds will transition from northwesterly to southwesterly, then to southeasterly to southerly at night, with speeds of 10-35 km/h. Waves are expected to range from half a meter to a meter and a half, suggesting relatively calm sea conditions.
