Eastern region: Date markets in Eastern Region are seeing a significant influx of shoppers as Ramadan nears, with consumers seeking various types of dates produced across the Kingdom. A diverse selection of dates, including Khalas, Sukkari, Sagai, and Ajwa, is highly sought after during this period.

According to Saudi Press Agency, shopper Abdullah Ghannam noted that Eastern Region is rich in palm groves, making it a key date-producing region. He highlighted the date festivals in Al-Ahsa and Qassim as prime opportunities for families to acquire renowned date varieties for Ramadan.

Date merchant Mohammed Ibrahim emphasized that Al-Ahsa is one of the Kingdom's largest agricultural oases and a vital economic resource. He also remarked on the growth of date-based industries, which enhance the value of palm trees and dates. Moreover, the Kingdom's date festivals foster a vibrant commercial and social movement by encouraging participation from traders and entrepreneurs to showcase regional varieties.
