Egypt: Egypt has reiterated the importance of exercising reason and wisdom and avoiding military solutions to crises amid the current military escalation in the region.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized the necessity of de-escalating tensions through diplomatic means, prioritizing dialogue, and exercising restraint to safeguard regional and international peace and security.
Egypt condemned Iran's targeting of a residential complex in Al-Kharj governorate, reaffirming its full solidarity with Saudi Arabia as well as all Gulf states, Iraq, and Jordan. Egypt stressed that it stands firmly alongside them and completely rejects any Iranian attacks against them.
Furthermore, Egypt renewed its strong condemnation of Israel's systematic attacks amid the ongoing military escalation in the region, including in Lebanon, where Israeli strikes have displaced more than 600,000 Lebanese people. The ministry affirmed Egypt's full support for Lebanon and rejection of Israeli violations of Lebanese sovereignty.
Additionally, Egypt condemned Israel's repeated practices in the West Bank, including land confiscations and settlement expansion, which constitute a flagrant violation of international law and international humanitarian law.
Egypt emphasized the importance of full compliance with and respect for the rules of international law, international humanitarian law, and the United Nations Charter, which stipulates that civilian facilities and installations must not be targeted. Such actions constitute a clear violation of international humanitarian law and a blatant breach of the established principles governing the conduct of military operations.
