Environment Ministry Urges Use of Authorized Slaughterhouses to Ensure Meat Safety, Protect Environment

Riyadh: The Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture (MEWA) emphasized the importance of slaughtering Adaihi at supervised slaughterhouses across the Kingdom during the upcoming Eid Al-Adha, stressing that relying on authorized facilities is critical to ensuring meat safety, protecting the environment, and safeguarding public health.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the ministry stated that designated facilities across various regions of the Kingdom are equipped with advanced technologies and staffed by specialized veterinary teams, guaranteeing meat safety and quality while preventing the transmission of livestock-borne diseases.

MEWA affirmed that all approved slaughterhouses strictly comply with local and international veterinary standards and operate under continuous regulatory supervision, as part of its efforts to provide an integrated and advanced service that contributes to environmental sustainability and public well-being.
