Estidamah Promotes Best Agricultural Practices for Fodder Production, Greenhouse Management

Riyadh: The National Research and Development Center for Sustainable Agriculture (Estidamah), in cooperation with the Qassim Region branch of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture, held two specialized workshops on best agricultural practices for seasonal fodder production and greenhouse management.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the workshops were part of the center's efforts to transfer knowledge and promote the adoption of modern agricultural practices. The first workshop focused on the production, harvesting, and baling of seasonal fodder. It covered technical aspects of the production process and factors affecting fodder quality. The workshop aimed to increase knowledge of appropriate agricultural practices and improve the efficiency of fodder production.

The second workshop focused on greenhouse management and operation. It covered the technical fundamentals of greenhouse management, key agricultural practices, and factors affecting crop growth and productivity. The workshop also highlighted the optimal use of resources and ways to improve production efficiency in protected agriculture systems.
