Riyadh: The International Equestrian Federation (FEI) described Saudi Arabia's achievements in show jumping during 2025 as outstanding, confirming that Saudi riders topped the Arab and continental rankings, with two Saudi riders listed among the world's top 100, based on the federation's official data and coverage of competitions held throughout the year.
According to Saudi Press Agency, FEI's updated global rankings released earlier this month show that Saudi riders Abdullah Al-Sharbatly ranked 65th worldwide, while Abdulrahman Al-Rajhi ranked 75th globally. These accomplishments make them the only two riders from the Arab region included in the latest list of the world's top 100 riders.
The federation noted that riders Ramzy Al-Duhami and Khaled Al-Mobty are close to entering the top 100 global rankings in the coming period, as Saudi riders occupied the top four positions in the Arab League (Middle East Sub-League) rankings for 2025. This coincided with the highest rate of ranking advancement during the final quarter of the year, driven by their strong results in the Riyadh and Saudi Jumping tours.
The FEI affirmed that the results reflect Saudi Arabia's dominance in regional and international championships. The Saudi equestrian team was crowned Nations Cup champion at the Morocco Royal Tour for the second consecutive year in September, outperforming prominent international teams, including Italy and the United Kingdom.
In addition, rider Khaled Al-Mobty won the gold medal in the individual show jumping competition at the Islamic Solidarity Games (Riyadh 2025) in November, while rider Abdullah Al-Sharbatly secured the bronze medal in the same event.
