Final Judging Committees for King Salman Quran Memorization Competition Hear Recitations from 36 Contestants on Third Day

Riyadh: The final judging committees for the local competition of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Award for Memorization, Recitation, and Interpretation of the Holy Quran, in its 27th edition, listened today to recitations from 36 contestants, 18 male and 18 female, during the morning and evening sessions.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the competition is organized by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance and features participants from various regions of the Kingdom competing across six categories. With today's sessions, the total number of recitations evaluated has reached 90.

The final qualifying committees for both male and female contestants will continue tomorrow, Monday, the 28th of Sha'ban, to hear recitations from 38 participants, 20 male and 18 female, also representing different regions of the Kingdom and competing in the six categories.

The final qualifying rounds will run through the 29th of Sha'ban. A select panel of specialists in Quranic sciences is overseeing the judging process through an electronic evaluation system, reflecting the Ministry's adoption of modern technologies in the service of the Holy Quran and its memorizers.
