Foreign Minister Engages in G8 Talks on Gaza Developments in Antalya

Antalya: Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah participated in the ministerial meeting of the Group of Eight (G8), held in Antalya in the Republic of Trkiye. The meeting focused on addressing pressing issues related to the Gaza Strip.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the meeting was attended by foreign ministers and representatives from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the State of Qatar, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Arab Republic of Egypt, the Republic of Trkiye, and the United Arab Emirates. This gathering took place on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum 2026.

The discussions centered on the latest developments in the Gaza Strip, with a particular focus on efforts toward reconstruction. The delegates also deliberated on the transition to the second phase of the comprehensive peace plan. Furthermore, there was a collective expression of rejection towards Israel's ongoing practices and attempts that are perceived as undermining the peace process.
