Foreign Minister Participates in High-Level Meeting with GCC, Regional Leaders, and European Officials

Riyadh: On behalf of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah participated in a virtual meeting with leaders from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, Jordan, Egypt, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Turkiye, and Armenia, as well as the President of the European Council and the President of the European Commission.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the meeting addressed the recent attacks that targeted several countries, impacting civilians, vital infrastructure, and diplomatic missions. The European representatives reaffirmed their strategic relationships with the participating countries and expressed full solidarity during these challenging times. Additionally, discussions focused on collaborative efforts to enhance regional and international security and stability, protect civilians, fully respect international law and humanitarian law, and uphold the principles of the Charter of the United Nations.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Foreign Minister for International Multilateral Affairs Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Rassi, Director General of the General Department of Asian Affairs Nasser Al-Ghannoum, and Director of the European Union Department Talal Al-Anzi.
