Riyadh: The Fourth UNESCO Global Forum on the Ethics of Artificial Intelligence (AI) entered its second day in Riyadh, convening international officials, technical experts, and institutional leaders across 18 specialized workshops and sessions, alongside the launch of new UNESCO tools to advance global governance, AI readiness, and environmental sustainability.
According to Saudi Press Agency, sessions centered on key facets of responsible AI deployment, addressing child and youth digital safety, healthcare governance, reducing disparities, education, ethical standards, and cultural and linguistic diversity. Discussions further examined embodied AI applications and ethical AI integration within museums.
Prominent Saudi institutions contributed to the agenda. The Saudi Data and AI Authority engaged in panels on inclusivity, education, safety, linguistic preservation, and embodied AI. Other participating entities included the Ministry of Justice, Human Rights Commission, King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology, Public Health Authority, King Salman Global Academy for Arabic Language, Heritage Commission, and the National Museum.
