Riyadh: Republic of Gambia Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation for Gambians Abroad Mamadou Tangara has emphasized that the severe attacks by the Israeli occupation against Palestine and Lebanon are destabilizing the region, fostering conflict in the Middle East, and threatening international peace and security. During his participation as head of his country's delegation at the Extraordinary Arab and Islamic Summit held today in Riyadh, he said that the crisis in Gaza necessitates urgent measures to alleviate suffering and achieve lasting peace. According to Saudi Press Agency, Tangara condemned the horrific events and genocidal actions committed by the Israeli occupation forces against the Palestinian people, asserting that these actions violate international legitimacy, charters, agreements, and norms.
