Riyadh: The General Authority for Survey and Geospatial Information (GEOSA) obtained the ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification for information security management systems, the globally recognized standard in this field.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the achievement reflects GEOSA's ongoing efforts to strengthen governance and enhance compliance with relevant national and international standards. The authority's endeavors include developing an integrated information security management system based on a risk management approach and aligned with the controls set by the National Cybersecurity Authority.
GEOSA affirmed its commitment to continuing the development of its capabilities in data protection and cybersecurity enhancement, contributing to supporting digital transformation goals, beneficiary trust, and national sovereignty over data and geospatial information.
