The ministry of islamic affairs: has installed information boards throughout the Grand Mosque and its courtyards to introduce the 46th King Abdulaziz International Competition for Memorizing, Reciting, and Interpreting the Holy Quran. Featuring the competition's visual identity, the displays highlight its objectives, categories, and international standing. They also showcase the participation of 334 contestants from 133 countries.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the boards are strategically placed at prominent locations across the venue. This year's edition of the competition is expanded to include female participation for the first time and features a developed electronic judging system to ensure evaluation accuracy across all categories.
The competition offers SAR10.26 million in total prizes for 50 winners across five categories, underscoring the Kingdom's commitment to supporting Quran memorizers worldwide. The displays engage visitors and highlight Saudi Arabia's ongoing efforts to advance international Quran competitions and spread Quranic teachings.
