Gulf AI Education Hackathon concludes in Bahrain

Manama, The second Gulf Hackathon for AI in Education concluded today in Bahrain, organised by the Arab Bureau of Education for the Gulf States in collaboration with the Ministry of Education. The event was attended by Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma, Minister of Education; Dr. Abdulrahman bin Mohammed Alasmi, Director General of the Arab Bureau of Education for the Gulf States; and Saad bin Saud Al Fuhaid, President of Arabian Gulf University (AGU). The Minister highlighted the event's alignment with efforts to integrate AI into curricula across the GCC and emphasised Bahrain's commitment to strengthening cooperation with the Arab Bureau of Education. Dr. Al Asmi commended Bahrain's support and noted that the hackathon aligns with the bureau's forward-looking programmes developed through expert studies and collaboration with member states. The event ended with the announcement of the competition results and the recognition of the winning student teams.
