Hajj Digital Ecosystem Enhances Pilgrim Experience in Madinah

Madinah: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's digital ecosystem for the Hajj season enhances the pilgrim experience in Madinah through a range of applications and services that facilitate transportation, permit management, and access to essential services. The system supports pilgrims throughout their journey from arrival to departure.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the Nusuk app serves as the primary digital platform for pilgrims, enabling them to view trip details, access the digital Nusuk Card, and book appointments for rituals, visits, and prayers at Al-Rawdah Al-Sharifah through a unified, multilingual interface.

The Tawakkalna app also supports pilgrims in Madinah through the 'Manasik Gate' service by displaying Hajj and visit permits and providing a QR code linked to the pilgrim's information and accommodation location, facilitating access to essential information and assistance when needed.

The official applications also provide supporting services, including weather updates, Qibla direction, prayer times, and emergency services.

The Asifny app helps pilgrims access emergency medical services by enabling electronic emergency requests, accurately identifying beneficiaries' locations, and tracking request status to support rapid response in Madinah and surrounding areas.

The Nusuk Card enables pilgrims to access and display their information and permits through official applications, helping streamline verification and organizational procedures and reflecting the level of digital transformation within the Hajj system and the services provided to pilgrims.
