Hajj Minister Reviews Preparations at Jadidat Arar Border Crossing

Arar: Minister of Hajj and Umrah Tawfig Al-Rabiah recently inspected the ongoing preparations at the Jadidat Arar border crossing in Arar Governorate, Northern Borders Region, to receive pilgrims for Hajj rituals for the year 1447 AH. During his visit, he evaluated the readiness of the facilities and services provided to ensure a smooth and efficient arrival process for the pilgrims.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Minister Al-Rabiah expressed his gratitude to the Governor of Northern Borders Region, Prince Faisal bin Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, for his continuous support and attention towards enhancing the border crossings' readiness to receive pilgrims. He acknowledged the collaborative efforts of various government entities in facilitating arrival procedures and enhancing the quality of reception services.

During the inspection, the minister reviewed various stages of the pilgrim journey at the crossing, from entry procedures to reception and guidance services, and the organization of transportation. He emphasized the importance of ensuring smooth procedures and swift completion, highlighting the care provided to pilgrims from their moment of arrival.

The minister noted that the preparations at the Jadidat Arar Border Crossing are part of an integrated system designed to facilitate the pilgrim journey by coordinating relevant entities, employing technological solutions, and improving field performance efficiency. This approach aims to enable pilgrims to perform their rituals with ease and peace.

This inspection is a segment of ongoing field visits to monitor preparations at border crossings under the support and directives of the leadership.
