Hajj Security Forces Detain 10 Residents for Violating Hajj Regulations

Makkah: Hajj security forces detained 10 residents of Sudanese, Egyptian, and Yemeni nationalities for violating Hajj regulations by attempting to enter Makkah and remain there without a Hajj permit. Authorities apprehended them and took legal action against them.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the General Directorate of Public Security urged all to comply with Hajj regulations and guidelines for the 1447 AH Hajj season and to cooperate with relevant authorities to ensure the security and safety of pilgrims. It affirmed that violations subject perpetrators to statutory penalties.

The General Directorate called for reporting violators by calling 911 in Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and Eastern regions, or 999 in other regions of the Kingdom.
